The Alpacas of Peru™ Collection
Inti™ • The Bright Spirit • Handmade Peruvian Amigurumi Collectible
Every alpaca has a name. Every stitch tells a story.
Some personalities have a way of brightening a room. Inti brings that same energy wherever he goes.
Meet Inti™, whose name means "sun" in Quechua. Inspired by the beautiful town of Pisac in Peru's Sacred Valley, Inti represents optimism, encouragement, positive energy, and the belief that each of us has something special to share with the world.
Growing up among Pisac's spectacular mountain terraces, ancient Inca ruins, and colorful artisan markets, Inti learned to greet each new morning as another opportunity. He's happiest exploring the hills, meeting new friends, encouraging someone who's trying something new, or finding a reason to make another alpaca smile.
Inti believes we don't have to do something extraordinary to make a difference. Sometimes it's as simple as offering encouragement, sharing a laugh, or leaving someone a little happier than we found them.
Handcrafted in Peru using the Japanese art of amigurumi, every Inti is individually crocheted by skilled Peruvian artisans, stitch by stitch. From the first pattern to the final hand-sewn detail, each collectible requires approximately 14–17 hours of craftsmanship to create. By blending the charm of Japanese amigurumi with Peru's renowned artisan traditions, Inti becomes a truly one-of-a-kind keepsake celebrating the beauty of two cultures.
Standing approximately 7 inches (18 cm) tall on a handcrafted solid pine wood base, Inti's sunny yellow coloring seems perfectly suited to his name. His oversized round glasses, colorful Andean-inspired hat, and vibrant accessories reflect the cheerful, energetic personality behind his story.
More than a handcrafted collectible, Inti is a little reminder that our attitude can change the way we experience the world—and sometimes brighten someone else's world too.
Wherever your journey takes you, Inti will be there to remind you: shine bright, be kind, and share a little sunshine along the way.
